That’s the way I was taught wrapping mic cables in the studio. This method also allows you to toss the cable out across the room without getting tangled.
Thanks for stopping by, Stan! Glad to hear that you learned to wrap that way as well. Just ran into another person (interview hopefully coming this week) who also learned to wrap this way in school. I’m surprised it’s not more well-known. I guess that just makes us cooler than the “other” cable wrappers out there.
